Meleika A. Wadley is co-founder of Making A Difference Consulting and has received her Masters of Science Degree in Social  Administration from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University and her B.A. in psychology from Notre Dame College. She is an independent licensed clinical social worker and supervisor in the State of Ohio, and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Arizona.  She has over fifteen years of school social work and counseling experience in the Cleveland and Phoenix area. Mrs. Wadley specializes in gender specific programming, special education, and early childhood intervention. Ms. Wadley also has international experience where she worked as a child protection social worker in London, England.

In addition, Ms. Wadley has served as a board member for Links-East, a non-profit organization sponsored by the Cuyahoga Community Mental Health Board and a board member of the Ohio School Social Work Association (OSSWA). In 2008, she was nominated to be a true mart fellow for Case Western Reserve’s Mandel School of Non-profit. Currently Mrs. Wadley is a member of the Arizona School Social Work Association and National Associations of Social Workers.

Mrs. Wadley is currently the coordinator of school social work and student support systems in the special education department of Phoenix Elementary School district #1. She is responsible for program development, child advocacy, counseling support for students,  bullying prevention and education, positive behavior intervention supports,  response to intervention, and crisis intervention.

In September, Mrs. Wadley was recently selected as one of Arizona’s “Who’s Next” in Education.
