Ericka M. Davis is a partner to Making a Difference Consulting/Goddess Girls Foundation, and has received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and dance education within the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication from Arizona State University. She is a professional dancer, performing at various events on the west coast and has over ten years of dance education experience in addition to her twenty years of dance technique training. Her dance training specializes in jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop, yet five years ago she added the practice of yoga into her education opportunities.
Ericka’s time spent with the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders, Phoenix Suns Dancers, and the Disney Company have allowed her to work with hundreds of youths promoting good values, self-esteem, and being a positive role model and influence to younger generations. Ms. Davis has additionally worked with diversity leadership alliance, a non-profit organization that calls for inclusion in the workplace, helping to raise awareness and promote the need for a colorful workspace environment.
Ms. Davis continues to dance, however currently is a full-time 200 hour registered yoga teacher through yoga alliance, and teaches at several studios across the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Her practice and classes incorporate a span of techniques from breath work, meditation to dance, all with the intent to bring an awareness of self that leads to self-acceptance an appreciation.
